Question 1

Do you supply flooring only, or install it too?

Accepted Answer

We do both — Flooring HUT supplies and professionally installs hybrid, laminate and engineered timber flooring, with a 1-year installation warranty on our workmanship.

Question 2

What areas do you service?

Accepted Answer

We service all of Sydney — north, south, east and west — as well as the Central Coast and down to Wollongong. Get in touch and we'll confirm coverage for your address.

Question 3

What's the difference between hybrid, laminate and engineered timber flooring?

Accepted Answer

Hybrid (SPC): Made from stone plastic composite, making it 100% waterproof and scratch-resistant — ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and busy households. Laminate: A high-density fibreboard (HDF) core with a laminated top layer, giving it water resistance and scratch resistance at a more affordable price point. Engineered Timber: Features a genuine solid timber top layer (2mm, 3mm or 4mm) for an authentic, elegant, prestige look and feel — being real timber, it isn't waterproof or scratch-resistant like hybrid or laminate, but with proper care delivers a premium finish nothing else matches.

Question 4

Do you offer a warranty?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a 1-year warranty on installation, plus up to 20 years on the product itself, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions.

Question 5

Can I get samples before I order?

Accepted Answer

Yes — visit our showroom, choose the product you're interested in, and we're happy to provide a free sample so you can see and feel it in person before deciding.

Question 6

How much does flooring cost?

Accepted Answer

Pricing depends on the product, the size and complexity of the job, and your location. As a general guide: Hybrid (SPC) from $50–$70 per m², Laminate from $48–$80 per m², Engineered Timber from $120–$200 per m² — supplied and installed. Exact pricing varies by supplier brand and thickness, so we provide a free, no-obligation measure and quote.

Question 7

How long does installation take?

Accepted Answer

Most average-sized rooms are completed within 1–2 days. Larger or more complex jobs may take 3–4 days.

Question 8

Do you remove and dispose of my old flooring?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we remove your existing flooring and take care of disposal as part of the job.
